Independent Artists

House Music Galaxy is a professional booking agency representing independent House Music DJs.

Each DJ is an independent contractor who manages their own business and establishes their own pricing, availability, and performance schedule. While our package pricing provides a general guideline, final pricing may vary depending on the artist selected and the unique requirements of your event.

Our role is to carefully match you with the right DJ and ensure a seamless booking experience from your first inquiry to the final song.

Every event is unique, and while our packages cover the needs of most celebrations, certain factors may influence the final investment. We believe in complete transparency, and any additional costs will always be discussed and approved before your booking is confirmed.

Travel & Transportation

Our packages include local travel within the Lexington, Kentucky area.

Events outside our standard service area may require an additional travel fee based on:

• Distance traveled

• Travel time

• Overnight accommodations (if required)

• Parking and transportation expenses

Setup & Breakdown

Larger sound and lighting packages require additional time for transportation, installation, testing, and breakdown.

Depending on your venue and package selection, additional labor charges may apply for:

• Extended setup times

• Multi-level venues

• Difficult load-in access

• Multiple setup locations

• Late-night breakdowns

• Long carry distances

Additional Performance Time

Need the party to keep going?

Additional performance hours can be added before or during your event, subject to DJ availability.
Standard sets are 2h music time plus 30min setup & breakdown allowance.

Sound System Upgrades

Our standard packages are designed for most private events. Larger venues or events with more than 200 guests may require additional equipment to ensure exceptional sound coverage.

Additional equipment may include:

• Extra speakers

• Additional subwoofers

• Multiple audio zones

• Ceremony audio systems

Lighting Upgrades

Take your event to the next level with additional lighting options.

Available enhancements include:

• Architectural Uplighting

• Intelligent Moving Head Lighting

Outdoor Events

Outdoor performances may require additional equipment depending on the venue and weather conditions.

Additional requirements may include:

• Weather protection

• Specialized outdoor equipment

Holiday & Peak Season Bookings

Events scheduled on major holidays or high-demand dates may be subject to premium pricing due to limited availability.

Venue Requirements

Some venues require additional planning and setup.

Additional setup time, security requirements, or venue regulations may affect the final quote.
